CWB takes its name from Causeway Bay, one of Hong Kong’s busiest and most iconic neighbourhoods, where work, creativity and city life intersect. We wanted to create a barefoot shoe that belongs in that environment: one that looks at home in the office, on weekend adventures and everywhere in between. Handmade in Taiwan from premium genuine leather, CWB delivers the complete barefoot experience with a wide toe box, zero-drop platform and flexible outsole, making natural movement part of your everyday routine.

Unlike synthetics, leather naturally moulds to the unique shape of your feet, creating a personalised fit that becomes more comfortable over time. Conventional shoes narrow the forefoot and raise the heel. CWB does neither.
The anatomical wide toe box gives your toes room to splay, steadying every step, while the zero-drop platform keeps your heel and forefoot level to encourage a more natural posture and walking pattern. Together, they allow your feet to move the way they were designed to.

How do I choose the right size?
Stand barefoot with your heel against a wall and measure the distance from the wall to your longest toe, measure both feet and use the longer one. Then compare your measurement with our Size Guide to find your recommended size.

Is CWB suitable for first-time barefoot shoe wearers?
Absolutely. Many of our customers started their barefoot journey with CWB. As a true barefoot shoe featuring a wide toe box, zero-drop platform and thin flexible outsole, we recommend easing into the transition by wearing it for shorter periods at first and gradually increasing your wear time. If you prefer a little more cushioning during the transition, EZ01 is also available as our transitional barefoot model.
Can I wear CWB to work or even the gym?
Yes. The leather silhouette works with office attire and smart casual outfits, and the flexible, zero-drop sole moves naturally through light workouts and strength training. One pair covers the whole day, desk to gym.
Why is genuine leather used instead of synthetic materials?
Leather is durable, breathes on its own, mould to your feet over time. The long you wear CWB, the softer the leather gets and the better it fits your feet, which synthetic cannot do.
What makes CWB different from conventional leather shoes?
Traditional leather shoes often feature narrow toe boxes, raised heels and stiff soles. CWB combines premium leather craftsmanship with barefoot principles:including a wide toe box, zero-drop platform and flexible outsole. The result is a shoe that looks timeless while allowing your feet to move naturally.
